Attend South games at great value, and convenience while supporting South athletics – join the Booster Club as a member!
The Newton South Booster Club is excited to announce a membership program that provides students and fans the opportunity to purchase a value-packed pass to all ticketed regular season, home football and girls and boys basketball games. Funds raised through the membership program go to the Booster Club which supports South athletics and holds events to build school spirit!
In addition to game admission, membership levels include benefits such as a member gift, a Boosters Swag bag and vouchers for South spirit wear. Members also have access to a dedicated entry line at games!
Why Buy a Membership?
The Booster Club Membership is a great value for students and fans who frequently attend home football and basketball games for which there is a gate fee, and for fans who just want to support Newton South athletics!
Here’s how it works:
Individual tickets for regular season, ticketed home games are $5 for students and $7 for adults. Booster Club Membership provides access to ALL home games (a total of 16) for one price. For example, the student membership is $35, a savings of $45 compared to the cost of attending all 16 games individually. Similarly, the Bronze membership provides two tickets to each home game for $80, a savings of $112 compared to purchasing tickets for all 16 games individually.
In addition to game admission, membership levels offer a variety of exciting benefits, including a member gift, a Boosters swag bag, vouchers for South spirit wear, and a dedicated entrance line at games.
Finally, all proceeds from the Booster Club Membership program go to the Booster Club, which in turn, supports the athletic programs and events that build school spirit!
How does the Booster Club support South athletics?
The Booster Club supports Newton South athletics by raising funds and purchasing items that fall outside of the athletic department budget, helping coaches and teams with treasury support and fundraising and by organizing events that build school and community spirit.

- Goal post pads for Winkler Stadium Field - $1,600
- Player benches for Winkler Stadium and JV soccer fields - $2,868
- Windscreens - $1,100
- Protective field coverage equipment for softball field - $4,500
- Sound system & equipment for Press Box at Winkler Stadium Field - $20,000
- Sideline chairs for Volleyball and Basketball games - $4,600
- Pop-up Tents for rain/sun protection for outdoor sports - $4,400
- In partnership with South Teams: Over $4,000 in the past year
-Guardian caps for Football
-Practice pinnies for Girls Soccer
-Spotlight for Wrestling Team
-Pickleball net for Tennis Teams
-Batting cage net for Baseball
In addition to purchases, the Booster Club runs the Winkler Stadium concession stand at home games, sells South spirit wear, supports the athletic department and coaches, and organizes events and activities that build school spirit!
Is this a Fundraiser for the Booster Club?
The goals of the Booster Club membership program are to provide value to fans attending South’s home games and to support the Booster Club mission. The program also serves as a fundraiser, which allows us to continue to support athletics and school spirit at South. However, our primary fundraiser is our signature event, the Lions 5K, a community road race in the spring.
Do I have to purchase a membership to help out the Booster Club?
All families are encouraged to attend Booster Club meetings and we need and welcome all volunteers! Families are also encouraged to join as a member to support the work that we do, but it is not a requirement to be involved.
