Attend South games at great value and convenience while supporting South athletics – join the Booster Club as a member!
The Newton South Booster Club membership program provides students and fans the opportunity to purchase a value-packed pass to all ticketed regular season, home football and girls and boys basketball games. It's like a "Fast Pass" for games, allowing you to scan in quickly and save money as you do. Funds raised through the membership program go to the Booster Club which supports South Athletics and builds school spirit!
Why Buy a Membership?
The Booster Club Membership is a great value for students and fans who attend home football and basketball games for which there is a gate fee, and for fans who support Newton South athletics! Members have access to a dedicated entry line at all games.
How it works:
Individual tickets for regular season, ticketed home games are $5 for students and $7 for adults. Booster Club Membership provides access to ALL home games for one price. For example, the student membership is $20, a savings of $60 compared to the cost of attending all 16 games individually. Similarly, the Bronze membership provides two tickets to each home game for $85, a savings of $139 compared to purchasing two tickets for all 16 games individually.
Most membership levels offer a gift with purchase, including a stadium cushion, NSHS blanket, and gift certificate for swag. See the chart for details on the membership levels and accompanying gifts.
How does the Booster Club support South athletics and build school spirit?
All proceeds from the Booster Club Membership program go to the Booster Club which supports the athletic programs and events that build school spirit! The Booster Club supports Newton South Athletics by raising funds and purchasing items that fall outside of the athletic department budget and by organizing evens that build school and community spirit.
Some recent Booster Club purchases include:
- Goal post pads for Winkler Stadium Field
- Player benches for Winkler Stadium and JV soccer fields
- Protective field coverage equipment for softball field
- Sound system & equipment for Press Box at Winkler Stadium Field
- Sideline chairs for Volleyball and Basketball games
- Pop-up Tents for rain/sun protection for outdoor sports
- In partnership with South Teams:
-Guardian caps for Football
-Practice pinnies for Girls Soccer
-Spotlight for Wrestling Team
-Pickleball net for Tennis Teams
-Batting cage net for Baseball
The Booster Club runs the Winkler Stadium concession stand at home games, sells South spirit wear, supports the athletic department and coaches, and organizes events and activities that build school spirit!
Is this a Fundraiser for the Booster Club?
The goals of the Booster Club membership program are to provide value to fans attending South’s home games and to support the Booster Club mission. The program also serves as a fundraiser, which allows us to continue to support athletics and school spirit at South. However, our primary fundraiser is our signature event, the Lions 5K, a community road race in the spring.
Do I have to purchase a membership to help out the Booster Club?
While families are encouraged to join as a member to support the work we do, there are many ways to become involved.
